Redding, California based singer-songwriter Jonathan Foster, originally from New York, sounds like he's from Iowa, and we're pretty sure died in Birmingham (in a past life). JF plays & sings with true Americana soul. He writes songs about the human experience from travel, disappointments, love and humor. Currently JF is in the midst of his 2013 Monthly Songwriting and recording project where he is continually producing and writing fresh and modern folk songs for old souls. Recording at After Hours Recorders in Redding, JF now has released his third project in July 2013 and which is his first studio record. Jonathan made his first successful cross US trip during the summer of 2013. JF is inspired by other singer-songwriters in the alternative country folk rock Americana blues music genre like John Hiatt, John Prine, Todd Snider, Hayes Carll, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, James McMurtry, Robert Earl Keen, Chip Taylor, and Warren Zevon.
